Braeside, Calgary is a quaint neighborhood located in the southwest quadrant of the city. Established in 1965, this mature community is primarily residential. There are approximately 6,000 residents, about a third of which are families with children.

Braeside is located west of 14th Street SW, east of 24th Street SW, north of Anderson Road, and south of Southland Drive. It’s situated near the Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, major roadways, and the city’s bike path. Despite its convenient location, Braeside maintains a quiet, suburban atmosphere.

If you’re hoping to live in a community where you’ll know your neighbors names, participate in fun activities with other community members, and be able to take advantage of all of the recreational opportunities that the area has to offer, Braeside, Calgary is an excellent choice.

Strong Sense of Community

Braeside, Calgary boasts an active community association that offers a wide range of recreational activities and programs for people of all ages. For example, the Braeside Community Centre offers a childcare program, a before and after school program, and a mom and tots group. Braeside, Calgary is fun, quiet, and community-oriented, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be stuck in a neighborhood with nothing but houses in sight. There are also plenty of shops and amenities accessible in the area, like two strip malls and a number of convenience stores. There’s also an elementary school located within the community.
