Brentwood is a wonderful community in northwest Calgary that was developed in the 1960s. The neighborhood is
situated at the base of Nosehill Park and near the communities of Varsity, Collingwood, and Dalhousie. The
community’s population is around 6,000. Because of the sloping topography of the neighborhood, Brentwood,

The community is conveniently located near the LRT, Foothills Hospital, SAIT, and University of Calgary. From the
Brentwood LRT station, residents can hop on the CTrain and quickly get where they need to go. There are also

available for community use include a banquet hall, an arena, and meeting rooms. Programs and activities that
the Brentwood Community Association organizes include soccer, hockey, figure skating, block parties, mural
painting, and other special projects. Outside groups also use the community association’s facilities to teach
fitness, martial arts, and dance classes. Other popular amenities in or near Brentwood include the Nosehill Library
and the Sir Winston Churchill pool and Sports Centre.
Brentwood, Calgary residents are also lucky to live near beautiful Nosehill Park, a distinctive urban park set on
2,700 acres of unspoiled wilderness. The park features ancient archaeological sites, natural grasslands, and
spectacular views of the city. Wildlife is frequently spotted in this park. Additionally, 8km of paved trails wind
through the park, connecting to a regional trail system that will take you to other parts of the city with ease.

western Brentwood. This expansive mall is home to over 81 shops, including Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Designer
