Coventry Hills, Calgary is a residential neighborhood in the northwest quadrant of the city. It is a quiet, suburban area that is located just 20 minutes away from downtown Calgary. Established in 1991, Coventry Hills has a population of approximately 12,600 people and is a rapidly growing subdivision. The neighborhood was built for families and boasts mostly single family detached homes listed in the mid to high $300s. The rate of home ownership in this newish, surprisingly affordable community is high, at over 95%.

Coventry Hills, Calgary is located at the northern edge of the city. It is bordered by Stoney Trail to the north, Deerfoot Trail and Nose Creek to the east, Country Hills Boulevard to the south, and Harvest Hills Boulevard to the west. Calgaryís international airport is in proximity to the community, which also boasts easy access to the cityís major transportation routes. In addition, LRT extensions are planned for the area, which will make it that much easier for Coventry Hills residents to get around. The community is also home to numerous public and separate schools, so itís an ideal place for families to live.

Parks and Recreation

There are lots of green spaces, parks, trails, and golf courses near Coventry Hills, Calgary. The neighborhood offers easy access to Nose Creek, where popular activities include hiking, swimming, and rock climbing. Coventry Hills is also in proximity to Cardel Place, a large recreational centre that features three gyms, two skating rinks, a fitness area, a climbing wall, and an aquatic complex. In addition, there are many golf courses in the area, such as the Harvest Hills Golf Course, which borders the community to the south. Nearby Country Hills Town Centre features over 52 shops and services. The community of Panorama Hills, which is located near Coventry Hills, is home to two historical sites: Reverend George McDougall Cairn and John A. Lewis Rock Quarry.

Coventry Hills, Calgary is one of four communities served by the Northern Hills Community Association. The Northern Hills Community Association offers sports programs for residents, publishes a monthly newsletter, and is involved in urban planning and development proposals for this rapidly growing area.
