Douglasdale Business Park is a 40-hectare shopping plaza in Douglas Glen, Calgary. There are also several strip malls located in the community,
including one near the golf course club house, one to the south on Lake McKenzie Boulevard, and Douglas Square at Deerfoot. Additionally, residents of
Douglas Glen can go to nearby McKenzie Towne to shop. The largest shopping centre in the area is Southcentre Mall, which is located at the intersection
of Anderson Road and Macleod Trail.
There is one public elementary school in the community, as well as a Catholic elementary/junior high school. Other designated schools for residents of
