Forest Lawn, Calgary is an inner-city neighborhood that’s located in the southeast quadrant of the city. The community has a population of nearly 8,000
and boasts a rich history, as it was first settled in the early 1900s by homesteaders. Forest Lawn, Calgary is a great place to live if you want to have easy
access to shops, restaurants, and schools. It was one of the first communities in Calgary to get its own Wi-Fi internet service.
Location
Forest Lawn, Calgary bordered by 8th Avenue in the north, 48th Street in the east, 26th Avenue in the south, and 36th Street in the west. The neighborhood is bisected by 17th Avenue, along which you’ll find many shops, restaurants, and commercial developments. Forest Lawn is also located close to major transportation routes, a regional park, and the Bow River. It is just six kilometers away from the downtown area, so residents who work downtown can enjoy hassle-free commutes. The LRT System is also accessible in neighboring communities.
