Established in 1958, the community of Glamorgan, Calgary is situated in the southwest quadrant of the city. Located just eight kilometers away from the
downtown area, Glamorgan is convenient place to live. The neighborhood has a population of approximately 6,300 residents and boasts an array of
amenities, including schools, shopping venues, and recreational facilities.
Glamorgan, Calgary is bordered by Richmond Road in the north, 37th Street West in the east, Glenmore Trail in the south, and Sarcee Trail in the west.
Glenmore Trail, Crowchild Trail, and Sarcee Trail all offer quick access to the heart of the city. These major roadways also make it easy to get to the
Rocky Mountains, so residents of Glamorgan donít have to venture far to enjoy a mountain getaway on the weekends.

heard of the Glamorgan Bakery, a famous family bakery thatís been serving up fresh baked goods in Glamorgan since 1977. Tsuu Tina Nation Reserve,
which is home to the Grey Eagle Casino, lies south of Glamorgan. The closest movie theatre is the multiplex cinema in Westhills.
Parks and Recreation
Glamorgan, Calgary is served by the Glamorgan Community Association, which has an active presence in the neighborhood. The Glamorgan Community
Association strives to organize activities, programs, events, and services that foster a sense of community spirit and pride. The association also aims to
preserve and maintain the surrounding natural environment.
Programs organized by the Glamorgan Community Association include a seniorsí corner, soccer, adult fitness classes, grassroots hockey, karate,
kickboxing, and cooking classes. The neighborhood is also home to a community kindergarten and the Glamorgan Childrenís Centre, which offers before
and after school programs.
Other recreational amenities in and around Glamorgan include an outdoor ice rink for community shinny games and an indoor ice arena at nearby
Optimist Park. Glamorganís also located near Glenmore Reservoirís recreational pathway system, which is just south of the community. In addition,
Mount Royal College, which is located within the community itself, has an indoor pool.
