out Greenview, Calgary. Greenview is a residential neighborhood located in the northwest quadrant of the city. Originally, Greenview was part of the
Greenview-Thorncliffe community, until it was divided in 1991. The area now consists of the separate neighborhoods of Greeview, Thorncliffe, and North
Haven and has a population of around 2,000 people.
Location
Greenview, Calgary is bounded by 64th Avenue N to the north, Deerfoot Trail to the east, McKnight Boulevard and Edmonton Trail to the south, and 14th Street W to the west. Greenview is located on the eastward sloping land that’s east of Centre Street. The neighborhood also has some industrial land, which is located around 41st Avenue and east of Edmonton Trail. Greenview has irregular boundaries, but generally it is located southwest of the Calgary International Airport.
Because of Greenview’s location on rolling hills at a high elevation, its homes offer excellent views. The neighborhood is also well connected to the city’s major roads, so it offers convenient access to the downtown area and the Calgary International Airport.

The majority of real estate in Greenview, Calgary consists of single family homes, townhomes, duplexes, and low and mid-rise condominiums. Nearly 50% of the housing in the neighborhood is made up of condominiums or apartments. Around 65.4% of the residents in Greeview are renters.
Amenities
Schoolchildren in Greenview, Calgary attend Thorncliffe Elementary, Colonel Sanders Elementary, Greenview Bilingual Elementary, and Corpus Christi Elementary. Greenview is in proximity to several golf courses, Nose Hill Park, Nose Creek Park, and the Calgary Winter Club, which features extensive recreational facilities. Greenview is linked to parks in the area via the Nose Creek pathway system.
