Pump Hill, Calgary is an upscale residential community located south of the Glenmore Reservoir. Although the Pump Hill area was developed in the late
1960s, it wasnít established as a community until 1991. Prior to that, it was considered part of the community of Palliser.
Pump Hill was named after the windmill that pumped water to the farm of the areaís original landowner. The neighborhood is home to approximately

the area that offer easy access to different parts of the city include Elbow Drive, Glenmore Trail, and Macleod Trail. The LRT system is also nearby.
