located near a bend of the Bow River, so thatís how it got its name. It is a relatively new neighborhood where development began in 1982. Today,

Riverbend, Calgary is bounded by Glenmore Trail to the north, 24th Street E to the east, and Deerfoot Trail to the west. The Riverbend area boasts three
different kinds of landscape: escarpment, upland plain, and floodplain. Riverbend is located near several of the cityís major roadways, including Barlow
Trail, Glenmore Trail, and Deerfoot Trail.
