Silverado, Calgary is a new residential neighborhood located in the southwest quadrant of the city. Located on the southern edge of Calgary, Silverado boasts extensive green space and stunning views. The community has been heavily influenced by the ranching history of nearby Spruce Meadows.

The construction of homes in Silverado began in 2005. In 2008, Silverado was home to 1,308 residents, and the neighborhood’s population continues to grow. In fact, Silverado is one of Calgary’s fastest growing communities.

Silverado is a master planned community with an equestrian theme. With over 90 acres of green space and over 60 acres of environmental reserve, Silverado is an incredible place to live and raise a family. Silverado was built in response to the people’s desire for a spacious community that offers innumerable opportunities for recreation in the beautiful outdoors.


Silverado, Calgary is located south of Spruce Meadows Trail and east of the Spruce Meadows equestrian sports facility. Located just north of Silverado are the communities of Somerset, Evergreen, Shawnessy, and Bridlewood.

Silverado, Calgary is an architecturally controlled community with spacious homes that offer breathtaking vistas of the Rocky Mountains. The construction of homes in the area began in 2005.

Silverado, Calgary features endless amounts of green space. The neighborhood is also home to several recreational facilities and pathways. Fish Creek Provincial Park, which is a popular spot for cross-country skiing, hiking, wildlife viewing, and swimming, is just a short bike ride away. There are also three world-class golf courses near Silverado. Spruce Meadows, a world-famous equestrian facility that hosts some of Canada’s best equestrian competitions, is also just a stone throw away from Silverado.
