When Temple was established, it was called “The Properties.” Eventually, “The Properties” was divided into the four separate communities of Temple,
Rundle, Whitehorn, and Pineridge. Temple has a population of 11,000 people.
Temple, Calgary is bounded by McKnight Boulevard to the north, 68th Street E to the east, 32nd Street N to the south, and 52nd Street E to the west.
Temple is located in close proximity to the Calgary International Airport and Northeast Industrial areas, both of which supply a breadth of employment

Temple, Calgary is served by Annie Foote Elementary and Guy Weadick Elementary, both of which are public schools, and Father Scollen Elementary &
Junior High, which is a separate school. For shopping and movies, Temple residents can head to the movie theatres at London Town Centre and
Marlborough Mall. Along 32nd Avenue and 36th Street NE, there are many restaurants, most of which are chain establishments.

city-owned McCall Lake Golf Course is located west of Temple, on 32nd Avenue and before Deerfoot Trail.

babysitting classes. Recreational facilities that the Temple Community Association maintains in the neighborhood include a basketball court, all-season
rink, and tennis court. Special events held in Temple on a regular basis include jellybean dances for kids, monthly dances for adults, and Temple Days,
which are fun family events that take place each June.
